Description
Nyctoporis are a small desert beetle in the teneb family. These are communal with the other tenebrionidae desert beetles we offer on the site, like darklings and death feigning beetles. Although we never know their age, this is generally a hardy and long-lived species and we are big fans of them! They often have a powder blue cast to them, like blue death feigning beetles. Though they are small at 1/3 to 1/2 of an inch, their coloration and unique morphology make for a very interesting and diverse communal tank.

Cute and unique looking – a great additional to any desert communal. Be aware they are very shy and like places to hide.

wonderful beetles! i seldomly see them but it makes for a nice surprise when they do decide to leave their hiding spots.
