Male Apache Jumping Spider

Description

The Phidippus apacheanus Apache Jumping Spider is, in my personal opinion, the most attractive native jumper species in the United States. Adult males are very brightly colored, often with two-tones of orange.

This listing is titled MALE and we offer a subadult or adult male through this listing. No guarantee on exact coloration, sorry, but all of them are vividly colored.

When I mow an acre of my property, we first clear it of jumping spiders to the extent that we can. Better to share them than mow them. This is a wild caught specimen in that sense, although they are essentially ranched here. Just ask my neighbors who historically saw a nice, regularly mowed property! Nope.
