Male Apache Jumping Spider

Description
The Phidippus apacheanus Apache Jumping Spider is, in my personal opinion, the most attractive native jumper species in the United States. Adult males are very brightly colored, often with two-tones of orange.
This listing is titled MALE and we offer a subadult or adult male through this listing. In either case these are early season (Sept/Oct) for large males and so there “should be” plenty of life left in them. No guarantee on size or coloration, sorry.
When I mow an acre of my property, we first clear it of jumping spiders to the extent that we can. Better to share them than mow them. This is a wild caught specimen in that sense, although they are essentially ranched here. Just ask my neighbors who historically saw a nice, regularly mowed property! Nope.
