Embaphion planum

Description

Brand new to the website, Embaphion planum is cousin to the pie dish beetle, E. muricatum. $8 each. Limit 1 per customer due to low inventory.

The pronutum on these has a flange that runs along the perimeter and the texture of the elytra is slightly granular.

This is not a large species at around half an inch but they are distinctive in appearance and as always, in the name of diversity, a fun addition to any desert beetle tank! It is my opinion that every dedicated, desert beetle keeper must see Embaphion at some point!
