Anuroctonus Swollenstinger Scorpion

Description

Anuroctonus phaiodactylus is the swollenstinger scorpion.

See photos on Bugguide.Net. This is due to the enlarged (fat) “stinger” (telson) present on males of the species. I like their two tone coloration of yellowish and browns. They fatten up really nicely, giving them a cute, plump look.
