Description

The Orthoporus ornatus gold desert millipede has alternating bands of yellow and brownish-orange. They are one of the largest species in the hobby and commonly available as rather large specimens. They are surface active in the tanks, generally very hardy and colorful as millipedes go.

Millipedes require a substrate of mixed organic matter (see related products, below).

They measure at around 3 to 5 inches and grow to 6+ or so inches. $8 each.

Millipede arrived in very healthy condition. wandered around the terrarium before resting inside the cork bark I placed to get used to it’s new environment. 5/5 Will probably order again in the near future when I get more moss for the enclosure.
