Japanese Boxer Mantis

Description

Acromantis japonica is the Japanese Boxer Mantis. These are not commonly available. In fact, it is the first time we’ve offered them. If you’re looking for a small species of mantis with an exotic appearance, this species is for you. Like other boxer mantises, they are known for pumping their wide forearms back and forth in a comical way as they communicate with other mantises or when they feel a little threatened.

They can easily live out their whole lives in either of the caging options we offer since they a relatively tiny species.

Available as 2nd and 3rd instar nymphs (have shed their skin once or twice). $12 each or take 3 or more at $11 each.
