Description
Trigoniulus macropygus are shiny black with red bands. Legs are red and yellow and fluoresce under blacklight more and more as they get older. These are active and move relatively quickly. Flameleg millipedes grow very quickly and are capable of reaching maturity in just ten months. They reproduce nicely in captivity. This is an excellent species in terms of hardiness and beauty, and they used to be pretty common in the hobby. Not anymore.
