Aquatic Insect Care Sheet

Last updated 3/23: I'll now be expanding this page to include lots of text and video to begin to help support the growing aquatic insect hobby.

I will be featuring ~Walstad Method aquariums, mainly through my Bugs In Cyberspace YouTube Channel. These are naturalistic set ups which are balanced tanks that do not require filters or frequent water changes. These are planted aquariums that are very easy to put together and should last decades in some cases with only the addition or removal of plants in some cases. The plants and microbes cycle the waste our aquatic insect pets create which in turn feeds the plants and microbes in a cyclical loop. An ecosystem in miniature.
