Look and you will find an undiscovered world in your own backyard. I can find an insect or spider or other bugs I've never seen before almost every time I go outdoors. So can you! The world is a very interesting place where as few as 10% of organisms are even named. Behaviors specific to each species and interactions among various organisms within environments form ecosystems more complex than the sum total of all human imagination. Nature is a perfect system where even synthetic materials are eventually reabsorbed.

Our desert beetle diversity is at an historic all-time high. Check out the new species! A couple new millipede species are also making appearances now and then.
Just finished mixing up the first batch of oak flake soil substrate for 2025, this week. Takes four months for it to ferment, but we still have this important high quality arthropod food available from last year's production and it just gets better with time!
Sooo many jumping spider moms of various species sitting on sacs right now and so some things will be coming back in stock, and for the first time in some cases soon, and some will be going out of stock. Phidippus tyrrelli, Phidippus borealis, tons of regal jumping spiders should be available by mid-May.
If you haven't experienced aquatic insects yet, check into it! These are the most active, engaging pet bugs as a group in the entire hobby!
