Cellar Spider

Description

Pholcus phalangioides cellar spiders easily attain legspans of 3+ inches. Cellar spiders are common in basements, garages and various crawl spaces. Sometimes they are called daddy longlegs by people outside the United States (but daddy longlegs in the US usually refers to a non-spider arachnid called a harvestman in the order Opiliones).
