1.
Accuracy:
All information in this site is provided to our best ability and
maintained, in part, by associations with participating vendors.
However, in case of error Customer shall indemnify and hold harmless
BugsInCyberspace.com against any and all claims, demands, actions, suits,
losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses, including without
limitation reasonable attorneys' fees, costs and expenses relating
to your use of our services. BugsInCyberspace.com makes no claim to
educate Customer about potential dangers of bites, stings or
allergic reactions resulting from handling our bugs. All arachnids
should be considered dangerous unless otherwise noted. We do not
advocate handling any bugs that you're not familiar with, including
assassin bugs. With respect to the carrier, we do not
ship any medically dangerous bugs including widows, recluses or Buthidae
family scorpions.
2.
Price:
Due to the dynamic nature of our inventory and our services, prices are
subject to change without prior notice. In case of significant
discrepancies between the posted and then the current prices, BugsInCyberspace.com will inform Customer prior to processing the
charges.
3.
Returns or
Damages:
To the extent governed by laws, return of merchandise should be
avoided as much as possible. We require vendors to inspect and
ensure the merchandise prior to shipment. And we ask Customer to
inspect all items upon receiving them. Customer must contact BugsInCyberspace.com
on day of delivery with concerns about the health of
animals. We request that Customers share responsibility with us for
damage during shipment, caused by carrier neglect. We make no
attempt to pursue insurance claims on orders of live bugs. We have
explored this unfruitful process in the past.
DOA’s (Dead On
Arrival):
BugsInCyberspace.com guarantees live arrival for all living animals
shipped via Express Mail (overnight delivery). Live arrival is NOT guaranteed for living
animals shipped using Priority Mail, or other non-overnight service
levels (unless otherwise guaranteed in the informational section
associated with same product). All DOA’s must be reported on same day
as delivery, or guarantee is void. Guarantee is also void in the
following scenarios: if you are not available to
receive shipment when delivery is first attempted, and/or if Customer
fails to notify BugsInCyberspace.com of extreme high/low temperatures
(see Shipping Terms, below). Either photographic evidence or return of dead
specimen is required, unless otherwise discussed.
4.
Photos: All photos on this website are original and not to be
copied without permission. In some cases photos are loaned to BugsInCyberspace.com to advertise a vendor's products. Photos rarely
represent the actual specimen a Customer will be receiving. They are
provided as a reference only. In many cases, our vendors
have provided photos of outstanding specimens that represent the
largest or showiest specimen they've ever raised.
5.
Payment:
We accept credit card payments through our shopping cart from US
residents. We accept Purchase
Order requests from schools, by arrangement. BugsInCyberspace.com is
a verified PayPal Merchant (click the PayPal image below to verify
our membership since 2001).

6.
Shipping: As hobbyists with "day jobs", we hold orders for
shipping for either Mondays or Tuesdays. Orders placed on these
days will likely ship the following week. This ensures no
weekend-related delays in delivery. By request, we sometimes ship
mid-week (Express Orders and Books, only), if convenient. It is Customer’s
responsibility to request a heat or ice pack (additional fees
may apply) for live arrivals to be delivered in extreme weather
conditions. Temperatures 35 degrees or below or above 90
degrees are considered extreme for live bug shipments. Because our
supply base consists of networking hobbyists, parts of your
order may be shipped from different locations. This means that
portions of your order may arrive on different days. Please be
prepared to receive your animals when they arrive. We do our
best to personally reply to all customers that place an order,
but this is not always possible. Please contact us if you have
any questions about when to expect your order. Between our
stated shipping schedule and the table of costs for shipping
below, you should be able to make a general estimate of when to
expect your order. Please be aware that the postal service
occasionally surprises us with early or late deliveries.
