Pharnacia sumatrensis

    Another very long and thick Pharnacia species from Malaysia.  At maturity, the ventral surface is sporadically covered with red spots and black patterning.  Spikes line the legs.  The abdomen of the female has a symmetrical pair of flanges near the end.

Foodplants: bramble, oak, Photinia

Approx. 13 inches at maturity!
